2. Complete the required online courses called ALCOHOL WISE & OTHER DRUGS PREVENTION: Due August 15, 2022. Additional information regarding this requirement can be found on our Health Requirements Classes page.
3. Complete the required online program called TITLE IX PREVENTION EDUCATION: Due August 15, 2022. Additional information regarding this requirement can be found on our Health Requirements Classes page.
4. Complete the required HEALTH INSURANCE WAIVER: Due August 15, 2022. All new undergraduate students taking 6 or more credits must supply their health insurance information on the student portal account by August 15, 2022 (Domestic Students) or September 15th (International Students). Students who do not complete the waiver to show proof of health insurance by this deadline will be automatically enrolled and billed for the Student Health Insurance Plan offered by RIH/Aetna Student Health. For additional information about the insurance requirement, please contact the RIH insurance and billing department at 410-455-3221 or 410-455-1557. Be sure to check with your insurance company to find out whether or not it will cover services provided at RIH. RIH is a participating provider with several major insurance companies.

If you have questions regarding the requirements or deadlines, please call 410-455-2542 or go to our Insurance WaiverHealth Requirements pages. Best wishes for a healthy and satisfying experience at UMBC.
